Mahesh Guruswamy is an executive leader with 20+ years in software product development. Currently Chief Operating Officer at Kajabi, he previously served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Kickstarter, where he led the platform's turnaround and product innovation. Before Kickstarter, he was Chief Technology Officer at Kajabi, where he helped deliver key creator-focused features. He has also held executive roles at Mosaic, Smartsheet, Amazon Alexa, and Fidelity Investments.

Inspired by Stephen King, Mahesh discovered that long-form writing was an effective way to share knowledge with product teams. His essays evolved into his first book, "How to Deliver Bad News and Get Away with It: A Manager's Guide" (Greenleaf Book Group, 2025). He's currently writing his second book for tech professionals building accelerated careers and publishes leadership essays on his Substack newsletter, The Sensible Manager.

Mahesh is passionate about mentoring aspiring and early-stage people managers. He lives in Orange County with his wife Krishma and son Vivaan, and spends his free time trail running in South Orange County or reading cosmic horror fiction.
